No removal of furniture although deposit was paid

Move-Tec removals requested that i pay a deposit of R7000 to book my place on their truck. They wanted the deposit immediately. My father paid them the amount per cash cheque( Vanessa demanded this). They were supposed to pick up my furniture from Ngodwana and transfer it to Gordonsbay. Many promises were made per phone and e-mail that they will pick up the furniture on the 30th October 2015. No truck came. The whole day of the 30th when i phoned them they told me their truck was on it's way. Surprise surprise no truck came. At 19H00 the evening i phoned another removal company to assist after Gerhard told me their truck was full( Yeah right). That is a breach of contract. I tried a few times to get my deposit back to no avail. My dad also phoned them without joy. Till this day I'm still waiting for my deposit. Gerhard is always full of promises but nothing happens. Further legal action will be taken against them by me. I'm still in possession of all the e-mails with their promises.
