Terrible experience, definately would NOT recommend
HORRIFIC, extremely disappointing and concerning experience with Move My Car South Africa. I paid extra specifically for my car to be delivered on a certain day. Despite this, the car was delivered on the wrong day with absolutely no prior warning or communication. What was even more concerning was that the vehicle was handed over to a complete stranger without anyone checking with me or the intended recipient. The person who received the car was apparently the recipient's secretary, yet no one contacted me to confirm that she was authorised to take possession of the vehicle. When I phoned to raise my concerns and complain, there was no meaningful follow-up, accountability or apparent attempt to investigate what had happened. This was not a minor inconvenience. My car could have been ******, damaged or handed over to the wrong person entirely. Handing over someone's vehicle without properly confirming the recipient's identity or authority is, in my view, completely reckless and unacceptable. I expected professionalism and accountability, particularly after paying extra for a specific delivery arrangement. Unfortunately, I experienced neither. I would strongly caution others to think carefully before trusting this company with their vehicle.
