I would like to formally raise a concern regarding the service experience I recently encountered with Renault Vereeniging. I contacted the dealership to schedule an appointment for my 2025 Renault Kiger, as the driver’s side window was not functioning properly and required inspection. During the call, I was assisted by a lady who identified herself as Lizelle. Unfortunately, the manner in which the call was handled was not aligned with the professional customer service standards one would expect from an authorised dealership. The consultant was not welcoming on the call, and her tone was neither courteous nor accommodating. During the conversation, I also mentioned that the battery in my spare key appeared to be low and enquired whether this would be covered. I was informed that it was not covered and she mentioned that the battery is around R16 and I can pay for that; however, the response was delivered in a dismissive and somewhat abrupt manner. My intention was simply to seek clarity, based on my understanding that certain components may be covered under warranty or service agreements. What was most concerning, however, occurred at the end of the call. After providing me with a date to bring in the vehicle, the consultant said goodbye. Immediately thereafter, while the line was still connected, she began using inappropriate language, seemingly under the impression that I had already disconnected the call. This was highly unprofessional and unacceptable. As a result of this interaction, I ultimately decided not to take my vehicle to that dealership. My reasoning was that if the level of service provided telephonically was of this nature, I was not confident that the in-person service experience or handling of my vehicle would meet acceptable standards. I believe in addressing concerns constructively and respectfully, which is why I am bringing this matter forward. As a customer who has invested in a new vehicle, I expect to be treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect at all times. I trust that this matter will be taken seriously and addressed accordingly. I look forward to receiving feedback regarding this concern
