I bought a new car on the 15th of August 2026, I traded in my old car and the agreement was that they settle my outstanding balance. It took them almost a month to do so after I called the many times. The sales person Koketso Taunyane all he said was yes I am bussy with it right now every day when I contacted him until I searched for the head office contact numbers and called the head office. I again requested them to change my NATIs disc type, he insisted that i should go to Bolt and force them to change the category of my car. He always shifted the responsibilities to other people. i don't know how many times he told me that the manager is not around. Up to today, I am still waiting for my refund because he even took long before he submitted documents to finance to settle the account at the bank, the bank ended up debiting my account for the car i already traded in. NAtis still the same. Its been a month I bought the car but I am still contacting the dealership everyday.

I took my car to renault fourways because its gears are malfunctioning and I received bad service and to date I have not been attended to fully but I paid for the diagnosis fee and they are simply failing to give me the quotation i paid for. They dont care about customers and are simply in the business for making money. I dont see myself buying a renault in my life again and I didn't even understand why I had to pay this time because I get stuck on the road with their car most of the time.I regret buying a renault triber.

I am writing this review with extreme disappointment and frustration after the appalling service I received from Renault Fourways. On 04/11/2025, I took my vehicle in for a routine annual service. I specifically advised the service advisor that they should only perform the service and check the error message showing on the dashboard nothing more. The car was running perfectly fine prior to this visit; there were no leaks, no smoke, no engine issues, and it only required a simple oil change and normal service. I received a call from the service advisor, Nthabeleng, informing me that the service had been completed and that the error message would be explained upon collection. On 05/11/2025, I collected my vehicle, paid a significant amount of money for the service, and drove to work and back, only to arrive home to an absolute disaster. The car suddenly started spewing thick white smoke from the exhaust, accompanied by a strong, unpleasant smell. When I opened the bonnet, I could hear a hissing sound near the coolant tank, and to my shock, there was no coolant left in the tank at all. This issue never existed before the service, the coolant housing had been replaced by another Renault branch only two years ago and had been in perfect condition. When I called the branch, Nthabeleng informed me that only the service was performed, and offered no real assistance or accountability. Her attitude was unhelpful, dismissive, and frankly unprofessional. My car, which was in flawless condition before entering their workshop, is now at serious risk of engine damage or a complete write-off. To make matters worse, my vehicle was not cleaned as promised, and I discovered that my cologne was ****** from inside the car on the day of the service. I have video and photographic evidence documenting everything that transpired after collecting my car from the dealership. This entire experience has been nothing short of disgusting. Renault Fourways has completely shattered my trust in the Renault brand. I am left with a damaged vehicle, missing personal belongings, and zero accountability from the dealership. I strongly urge anyone considering taking their car to Renault Fourways to think twice. The lack of care, professionalism, and integrity I experienced is beyond unacceptable. I am now forced to take an uber to work as I cannot drive the vehicle in this condition. Renault South Africa, please investigate this matter urgently customers should not have to endure this kind of treatment from an official dealership.
