Taken for a ride
On 7/10/2024 I took my car to Nissan for a service and replacement of power steering pipe. It took them almost a month to replace the part. On the 25/10/2024 I collected the vehicle. The day before when I asked the service advisor why it took so long, he indicated they had challenges getting parts. The technician also phoned me to explain that he had to tighten *****s that were loose on the car. I told him whatever *****s were loose is their fault as only Nissan worked on the car. 2 weeks later after they worked on the car, it was completely dead and I took it back on the 8th Nov. To date it is still there as they are telling me they need to replace the ignition and cannot check anything else unless I pay over R10000 to replace the ignition. How they arrived at that without doing a proper investigation puzzles me. All they tell me is that it is normal wear and tear. Motus Nissan is taking its customers for a ride especially women.
