Material misrepresentation by Ford.

I went to Ford with my wife after she already organised a loan through Ford finance for a Ford Ranger 2023, 2.0 single turbo model. The sales representatives were very friendly. All five of them. I only had two questions regarding the vehicle. #1. Does it have a wetbelt? The senior salesman said no it has a timing chain. #2. How long must this vehicle idle before you can switch it off because of the turbo? They all laughed and said not to worry this is "new technology " I took it for a test drive. Signed the papers. The next day I went to collect the vehicle. Drove it for 2 weeks. A colleague of mine bought a brand new 2026 model. He told me that mine was not the same as his although it is also a 2.0. His had a timing chain and mine a wetbelt. I was furious. I immediately let the sales representative know. He answered me back via WhatsApp, and assured me he will speak to his superior and resolve the issue. Eventually after four weeks I managed to take the vehicle back main reason being the left hand main beam don't work. (Still not mentioning anything about the wetbelt, and me starting to think how did they put this vehicle through the test.) After 8 days I phoned him for the vehicle still was not ready yet. I then told him I have had enough. I told him I don't want the vehicle anymore. He told me twice that he will phone me back that same day. Never happened. I emailed him and copied the sales Manager and the Kempton Ford Manager in, telling them that they committed ***** and I will not take possession of the vehicle anymore. They emailed me back saying that they will at the latest 1September resolve this issue. Still heard nothing from them. I think it is very unprofessional of them. They are quick to take your money but a single headlamp take days to fix. I have heard bad reports of Ford, but untill now I can honestly say I will NEVER EVER BUY A FORD AGAIN!!!
