Shocking service at Motus Ford Diepriver , Cape Town

Unfortunately been taking a company vehicle to this establishment for 6 + years now. Only reason being is that it’s close to my work - only convenient aspect.

Everytime I book a service I approach the service with a clean slate hoping for a positive outcome . This place disappoints me every single time.

Took my bakkie in for a service this morning 6/12/22 (3rd in the queue) at 6:30am for its 15000km service. At 15:45 nobody had contacted me via sms, WhatsApp or email regarding when to pick up the vehicle or if they managed to sort the issues I had requested to be fixed.

I phoned reception at 15:45. Everytime you phone, you always asked to leave a message as nobody is ever at their phone. Advice - get everyone a hands free phone so they can move with their phone. On awaiting for the service agent who helped me in the morning - Edward (They couldn’t give me his surname, nor was it on the invoice).

45 minutes later Edward still hadn’t returned my call. I phoned back only for the receptionist to tell me she emailed Edward to phone me. Who does that? Get off your chair and go speak to him 20 meters away.

Edward was again going to phone me back, and never did.

The third conversation at 16:35 with the receptionist on the phone she told me that Edward had gone home. So the service agent looking after my car for the day had gone home without letting me know if they had solved the issues I had requested to be fixed or letting me know when I can come pick up the car?

Once picked the car up and driven it. 2 out of the 3 requests still aren’t sorted.

This isn’t the first disgraceful below par encounter I’ve had with this establishment.

They have no idea how to deal with customer experience or satisfaction. Silvia the manager in charge of the service department has no oversight on what’s potting. How people keep getting things wrong is beyond me.

By looking at the other reviews it’s clearly not just me who is appalled by their service.

If Motus Ford closes their doors tomorrow it would make complete sense. Constant disgusting service.
