MOTUS CORPORATION - HYUNDAI SOUTH AFRICA

It could sound incredible or impossible but, unfortunately, it happened and it still is happening. Two months ago I asked Hyundai's managers at the Head Office (names and surnames available on request) to be assisted to replace my Accent hatchback manual because I was not happy with the clutch/gearbox since their dealership in Milnerton delivered it to me. During about 2 years, their “genius-specialists” never wanted to test drive the car with me to understand the problem I was trying to verbally explain and never wanted to put their holy hands on, waiting that “something” would have broke one day to finally understand the cause of the “problem” and replace the broken piece/s. To them it is not importat to cause discomfort to Customer:, they only are interested in protecting their interests doing the minimum possibly putting any effort to gain the maximum on Customers' shoulders and costs!!! Through Hyundai Head Office, I had been contacted by their dealership in Tygervalley, Cape Town, and their sales lady (name and surname available on request) assured to immediately resolve the problem by proposing a very good car, also confirming that they all know exactly the clutch/gearbox problems of the Acent manual ... First she mentioned to replace my car with an Elantra but a few hours later changed her mind proposing another Accent, but sedan and automatic gearbox. Once I accepted even not 100% happy, they did not deliver the car I indicated to the Head Office and to them, but another of their choise which, after the delivery, resulted being heavily accidented. They did not want to return my ex car refunding the difference I paid as I asked, but wanted to replace that accidented car with another one, assuring that it would have been totally inspected by their workshop manager to be 100% sure that they would have delivered a perfect one. They “democratically” chosed another Accent, which I saw the first time one day before the delivery, when it stiil was not yet ready, nor they allowed me to test drive it. After the delivery of that second Accent in one week time, verifying all documents which took me about one month to collect by personally and directly contacting other Hyundai dealerships and their workshop in Milnerton, where I had been compelled to go because of leaks from the engine (which the experts did not understand the origin and the cause), I verified and unfortunately also came to know that: - they invoiced an Accent GLS/FLUID 1.6 A/T but the delivered car is a FLUID one (this should be considered as “*****”... and in Italy, my Country of origin, they would be persecuted for *****e and condemned to pay big moneys to the *****ed Customer as moral and material damages, besides refunding the full amount of the traded in car at the time of the contract and of the paid difference,,,) That invoice had never been amended and that means that it had not been issued by mistake and that it has to be considered as legal, correct and true. Imagine if somebody from the Ministry of Finance would go to verify their stock and related issued invoices ... - it had 2 previous owners but the sales lady granted that it only had one (that automatically causes the reduction of the value of the vehicle which results were not at all on line with the evaluation of my car, which had been estimated R165,000.00 by Hyundai's Milnerton dealership) and the managers at the Head Office and the sales lady at Hyundai Tygervalley knew that well and no one has ever contested that quotation; - the 125 Hyundai's compulsory checks on the car they delivered to me had been made in 2018: about 20.000 kms before that they delivered it to me and nobody had been able to explain where the car had been and who drove it for 20.000 kms; - the car had been serviced on 25 September 2020 but delivered to me on 3 September without the service book (I asked it for one months before getting it with partial registration f services done ...); - the car has damaged/broken parts and had been resprayed (unfortunately those parts are visible only lifting the car...); - new leaks coming out recently but the dealership refused to take care of the car because the matter is not at the “attention” of the legal department and therefore, it seems that if one has problem during this moments, he/she has to resolve them by him/herself; - Hyundai South Africa received my written official complaint on 28 September 2020 and until today still no action had been taken to resolve the case once for all as I indicated, while I learned that Hyundai Sout Africa is owned by Motus Corporation, which only appointed an internal Legal Conseil to study the case, who cannot do anything or take any decision admitting that he is still “waiting for instructions”... (a Corporation of such importance and value should be organized to resolve any kinds of cases/prblems within hours,,,). At the end, this is the way acting of Hyundaai South Africa and Motus Corporation... giants with feet of clay, able to move billions and billions of turnover on papers with hundreds of overpaid so-called “experts” and “knoww-it-all”, totally incapable and ***********, not able to put their face and take responsibility on such a fraulolent cases caused by unfaithful dealerships they should instead, keep under control 24/7... What a disappointment and how disgusting is that ... On which hands do we put our good faith, trust and, above all, moneys ...
