Terrible secondhand car sales

Not a nice branch to buy a car from. Bought a secondhand A1 at the end of 2021 from them. I complained about the rear tyres as one was cracked. The one was 2013 made and the other 2015. They had their technician check it and said it was safe to drive. No way was that safe but they refused to budge. Replaced them myself. 2 months later I had the shocks checked, terrible condition the front shocks. The people who replaced the front ones cannot believe the place sold the car like that. Just goes to show they don’t care about their customer’s safety, only the money they can make. Terrible service as well. They never wanted to budge on a few concerns I had. Never will I ever go there again. Poor representation of Audi. Makes me consider to never buy one again.

Dear Valesca,

We apologise for the less than satisfactory service you feel you received from our pre-owned department. According to our in-house tyre team, the tyres were OK for delivery and the vehicle passed roadworthy at an independent testing station. We would not deliver a vehicle without all the checks being in place and we did not receive any feedback from you until this complaint on Hello Peter. If you would still like to engage with us on this, kindly send an email to *** and we will be in touch.

Clearly your technicians have no idea what is safe and what not in terms of tyres and the longest you should keep them before being replaced. The one was cracked all over on the outside and that alone is reason for concern but if your technicians and sales people refused to consider replacing the tyre, what difference is emailing you going to make? The problems keeps stacking up it seems. The shocks I would not have known before hand. Audi Bryanston assured me it was tested. But since driving it, it felt not right especially going over speed bumps. I had my suspicions and supa-quick confirmed it when I had them inspected. So I am putting my experience here to warn other potential buyers to not make the same mistake I did. There is no point in engaging with you because you will somehow find a reason to not make it your fault and I would still be where I am at this point. I wonder what you would have said if I was in a serious accident due to the tyres exploding or the shocks failing. Then what? My concern is the disregard Audi Bryanston has for the safety of the people that drive their vehicles fresh out of their dealership. I complained about the tyres and the answer I got is, the technician checked it and it is safe. I raised it a few times, got the same answer. You think it would have been different if I emailed you? No. You rep**** in this thread again with the technicians report. I have never experienced such poor service from a car dealership as this. My take was, Audi Bryanston only cares about money. That was it. There was no negotiation on the price. They even wanted to charge me for the service it had to go through before releasing the car to me. Where in the world! So I would never even go there ever again. Money hungry is all you are.

Hi there Valesca,

I chatted to the sales manager yesterday, and the sales executive will email you all the relevant documents regarding the checks done on the vehicle before delivery took place last year.
