Please reimburse me
In October 2020, my car went into limp mode. I drove it to Audi Bryanston. The initial prognosis was fuel contamination. A month later, upon collecting my car, it would not power up and I was unable to drive out of the dealership. The second diagnosis was that I had to have my fuel injectors removed and flushed out and the fuel pump needed to be recalibrated.
In early December 2020, two months after I’d left my car at the dealership, I was informed that I couldn’t collect my car as it was under boosting due to a dysfunctional turbo charger. It took Audi Bryanston another two months to “resolve” the issue.
I collected my car on the 27th of February 2021, almost five months after leaving it in Audi Bryanston’s care. Within minutes of driving out the dealership, I realized that my car was still under boosting and it kept going into limp mode.
After numerous back-and-forth engagements, c.R50k spent for three different issues, my car still goes into limp mode. I’ve walked a nine-month journey with Audi Bryanston. It’s clear that they can’t fix my car. The very issue that led me to them has not been resolved. I therefore humbly ask that you kindly reimburse me.
We are sorry to hear of the less than satisfactory experience you feel, you had at our dealership. We have escalated this to our service manager, whom has been involved in the repair process from the beginning and has assisted where possible in diagnosing and repairing your vehicle in a cost effective manner. However, we have still not met your service expectations even though we offered to have the vehicle looked at by one of our trade partners free of charge, referred you to an independent Audi Service Centre to have your vehicle independently assessed, and as a last resort referred to the Ombudsman in order for this issue to be resolved by an independent party.
