Beware of SABELO RALA

My name is STM, I'm the founder of a company called Telcofiber Internet PTY LTD: Company Reg: *** Johannesburg. In 2020 while I was doing projects in Port Elizabeth, I was approached by a ****** named Sabelo Lawrence Rala together with his Wife Monzi Rala to assist them with their companies as a Consultant while on the other hand Sabelo wanted me to help him write his Project management assignment for a qualification he was studying. Fast forward to 2021 after the ****** Sabelo noticed the potential in my company and the projects I was doing he asked to be part of my company for which I told him that he can only join as an investor since at that time I was already building my WISP Network to offer broadband services and connectivity in the Eastern cape region. We agreed on him investing R1.5 million, 60% of which was going to capitalise the network build while the 40% was going to be my goodwill. He agreed and coerced me to prepare the necessary documents for signing which he never signed but found ways to push for shareholding without paying any amount. At the time I had a lot of prospective and ongoing work and that alone kept me very busy as I was the only Technical person and Sabelo was just but a non qualified guy who was struggling with his distance qualification for which I was helping him with assignments. I allowed him to be part of the company as I wanted leverage for BEE and thought he was the best person to grow with into African markets. I managed to strike a tender for building FTTX (Fibre) networks from one of the biggest fibre providers in South Africa. We hired employees all of them from his Church (BCOC in Newbrighton, PE). We worked so hard and managed to successfully close a few sites for which money was paid but most of it went into his pocket and a little amount paid to employees which he later fired without paying them full amounts and I was not paid a dime. He kept on promising and lying that his father in law (Bishop John Bolana) was going to fund us and also help him pay for the shareholding in my company. Each time he would use the Bishop's name as a shield when I asked about his dues to the company. He would use undue influence and duress to exploit me and our employees who came from his Church and most of them were even scared of querying him on anything he did wrong. I would say we were fortunate to be in a niche industry which saw us get business to fund the operations without any of his promised cash injections. All our projects were technical that in many cases I had to do them single handedly. I then noticed that Sabelo and his wife were duping the church and or bishop lying that they were requesting for funds to inject into Telcofiber while they were pocketing the money themselves. I didn't care much as I knew that the company could fund its operations from the few clients that I already had before he joined. I would say I overlooked a lot of things since I trusted him and his father in law (the Bishop) as a Man of God only to realise later that he was using me and the company to **** the bishop and his wife of monies that were never used for the company's operations. In the process I was summoned to the Bishop's office at Bantu Church of Christ in Newbrighton about three times in a row only to be intimidated by him, his wife and his in-laws and they were threatening to dissolve the company that I had started alone. On the third occasion I agreed to the dissolution but they later made a U-turn because they wanted to use me to get them funding from Motsepe Foundation, ECDC, DVRG and several other funding organisations. I wrote all Technical proposals as TelcoFiber in the name of BCOC as the intermediary for no remuneration as I thought we were together in the business. We did proposals with a total value of over R30 million and in no time Motsepe Foundation approved one of our proposals to build a WISP network in support of the government initiative to alleviate cvd19 struggles in line with Learning and working from home for the disadvantaged communities of Port Elizabeth. The proposed project was supposed to get us R3 million in funding to expand our network in order to cater for the disadvantaged communities in and around Port Elizabeth. an initial payment of R250 000 was made and we squeezed the budgets to be able to build a fully functional WISP network which I designed from scratch and single handedly installed technically, save for a few cases where I needed manual labour most of whom are still not paid till now.

We bought tools and equipment from monies that we were collecting from the operations and the value of equipment and tools is around R200,000 (He later seized these tools and equipment). On the 23rd of November 2021 when our network was up and running with paying customers, Sabelo Lawrence Rala decided to bulldoze into my house at 98 MacKay street, Port Elizabeth at the dead of the night with a Church truck and about 6 men from his church and a cousin of his by the name Lonwabo who is a police detective. They harassed me and seized all tools, my laptop, company vehicle and equipment that were kept at my house and threatened to shoot me saying he was sent by the bishop of BCOC (John Bolana) to come and take everything for a reason undisclosed to me. I did not open a case for him as I thought the bishop was the one who sent him and I did not want to ***** the name of the man of God. Instead I requested for a meeting with the bishop but nothing sufficed because Sabelo threatened me and told me no one gets to the Bishop except through him. I even tried going to BCOC directly but no one could listen to my request to see the Bishop. I even tried calling on their landline to no avail. I was left in total confusion as I didn't want to jeopadise the business which was already servicing more than 20 subscribers and a disadvantaged School in the marginalised areas of Bethelsdorp (Zanolwazi SS School). As if nothing had happened Sabelo latter called me and apologised saying he was forced by the Bishop and his wife to come and harass me and seize the equipment (About 56 kits for home/business installations, Testing machines, Splicer, Solar systems, Routers and Cabinets just to mention a few). Fast forward to 2022 Sabelo then called me to notify me that he wanted to take over the network and run it with his wife Monzi and they were going to buy me out with a paltry R100,000 which I refused and told him to engage professionals who would evaluate the company first. I then later learnt that more funding was going to be released and I concluded that it was the reason he wanted to get rid of me so he could use the funding alone and at that time he was already telling me that when the full funding is paid it would be paid into one of his broke and blacklisted companies (Vezokuhle Youth Development Agency). I tried engaging the Bishop, His father Mr Rala in Zokwana, his sisters and brothers only to be told by one Good Samaritan that it was his scheme and the church’s to use entrepreneurs to get funding and later dump them or harm them. Within no time Sabelo came again and physically harassed me and threatened to kill me saying he could do anything to me as he had just been promoted to a reverent in his church and there was no one who could do anything to him as the son in law to the Bishop. He forcibly seized my Zimbabwean ID, car radio and vandalised my car keys claiming that he had lost R600,000 in the business although we both knew that he had never put in such an amount and the only payment we had gotten was 250k from Motsepe foundation and a few invoices that had been paid by our customers for work which I had done with my own hands. During all this fighting he had fallout with all our employees that he had hired without consulting me and most of them hardly lasted for 2 months because he had a tendency of harassing and transferring their salaries into Ntlokomo Investments (one of his company) saying he would pay them easily from there but later failed to do any of the intended payments. On 28 March 2022, Sabelo came to me guns blazing, threatening me with death saying that I as a Kwerekwere (Foreigner) and deserved to be burnt to death and that he was going to put a tyre around my neck and burn me to death. He harassed me in the full view of people at a Caltex service station on 8th Avenue in Walmer and I know the staff at Steers and fuel attendants can witness to that day light harassment even a footage can be found at the garage or at steers as it happened right in front of them. The same day he continued to harass me at my lodgings in Mont Croix and mr RF Zako (my landlord) is a witness. I had to run for my life and only managed to take with me a few belongings leaving the whole WISP network, my vehicles and property behind. Herewith I am going to list all the employees/people he duped and took their earnings; Julius Maham, Masixole Dyubele, Botham Tapiwa, Johan Pelser, Godfrey Choga, Mandilake Manana, the late Brghton (MHSRP), Milo, Max, Thandi, Anelisa (a customer) and Desmond. I also would like to further expose his infidelity shenanigans with several women while he is a married man and worse still the Bishop's right hand man. I just want the world to know that Sabelo Rala and his wife are ****** using their influence and the Church's to **** and rob vulnerable entrepreneurs of their companies and projects pretending to be investors while they do not intend to invest but to loot from the poor entrepreneurs. Furthermore, I realised that the funding they get at BCOC only circulates in the family. It doesn't benefit the youths and entrepreneurs of Eastern Cape at all. The funding is only benefiting the daughters and son in law to the Bishop who later fails to fulfill the objectives of the funding in most cases. Please beware of this ****** and his companies (Ntlokomo Investments, Vezokuhle Youth Development Agency, M&D collections and WecareSA) They use their close allies from the police in their church to threaten business partners, workers and stakeholders. Unfortunately they failed to use the Home affairs route on me as I have all my papers in order. I am on a valid and genuinely issued Business permit. I call upon any national authorities to go and see for themselves what is happening at his house in terms of labour and exploitation (He is number one employer of undocumented people and doesn't care helping them get proper documents from Home Affairs and when it's time to pay he threatens that he will concoct charges to get one arrested.
