Worthless client
How to describe Motorvaps - they are the type of company that will treat you the exact opposite of a valued client -a worthless client. To test this out, try calling them to make a claim - you will be first in line and wait up to one hour and then the call will cut. It has also been my experience that Motorvaps will take your money every month and when you have a claim, which is the reason this company exists and also the reason you took the policy in the first place, they will look at every technicality to minimise your claim. They offered me R1500 of my R6500 claim, bear in mind that my mechanics charges were R10500. If you need a warranty try Televaps.

19 Jun 2023, 07:37A follow up to my review on 29 March for Motorvap has to also include OSTI the short term insurance ombudsman who quite frankly produced no or 0 customer satisfaction.
“Good morning.
What is their answer again? So detailed and technical, lacks clear and precise language for end users / clients. As the client, all I am receiving is "you pay, it will be very difficult to contact us, we are sticking to our policies, we are right and we stand behind that!".
My response is that this warranty company is not client / consumer focused. They are technically orientated and really are just speaking to vehicles. Unfortunately vehicles are not paying their premiums. Just try calling them to claim - do a random sampling on "survey******" and let these results speak for themselves. Better still, visit "hellopeter", just the first three pages and survey them. By the way all three pages give Motorvaps a one star. I am not alone in this OSTI. These 33 clients are from a broad background. Comments from my mechanic (10 year dealing) - Apparently Motorvaps was a really good warranty to take and something just changed last year.
If they want to pay a pittance. Tell them to keep it.
