Waste of Money

The reason people take out insurance of any kind is so that when something unexpected happens, you can be covered for that. However Motorvaps is definately not there for that reason. They are there strictly to make money and not help out their clients. I took a policy with them in May of this year, because my freeway plan with Audi was about to finish. I have subsequently had to put in two separate claims and guess what?!? both were denied because of their little clause claiming that wear and tear is not covered!! Sure they tell you that if you need to repair your head gasket, they'll pay out x- amount, however since it's determined the repair is needed due to " wear and tear", they deny your claim!! How can anything related to your vehicle NOT wear out/ break/ become damaged, due to wear and tear?? I drive the car every day!!! It will obviously have problems due to wear and tear. Should the vehicle be parked somewhere , chances are nothing will go wrong with it!! Anyway, just a heads up, don't take their stupid insurance, take out some unit trusts instead and cover the costs yourself.
