Motorvaps Extended Mechanical Warranty

I join a long list of disgruntled clients of the Motorvaps warranty. My car had a mechanical breakdown in that it suffered a bearing knock whilst I was driving on the highway. I towed the car to a mechanic and registered a claim with Motorvarps under the extended warranty. It took approximately 6 weeks for them to respond they asked the mechanic to strip the car and whilst they were doing a diagnosis of the problem. The mechanic mentioned that it will need a an engine rebuild that would cost approximately R75k. Motorvaps ultimately approved the claim for R7500.00 only 10% of the expected amount for repairs. Thy wrote a later claiming that it was caused by wear and tear and can not honor the claim for what I have been insured for the breakages. These guys are good ******** shame that they are part of the Old Mutual Group. When I took the warranty policy I disclosed everything about the car and started my concern about the wear and tear jargon that the whole warranty industry uses to hide behind when they need to honor claims from customers. They are all the same crocks wolves in sheepskins. These warranties are not worth the paper they are written on but a lucrative industry to **** unsuspecting clients. Shame on Motovarps and your parent company Old Mutual. You must be really desperate to stoop so low to maximise your profits.
