Moto warranty

I took out a moto warranty at motorvaps ,they send me to take my car for a final inspection at Dekra my car passed the test and they gave me my warranty ,6 months later my car ran a bearing and when i put my claim in they rejected it there excuse was that my front section of my exhaust was not standard .When i told them that it passed the dekra test like that they started looking for other excuses . They then said that they can see that my car was worked on before . Nowhere in there policy does it say that your car must be like new and that no repairs were allowed to be done on it before They kept to there story and told me i can take them to the ombudsman if i am not happy .Which i did my car has being standing for 4 months . The ombudsman has being waiting close to 2 months for motorvaps to get back to them with there response i am sure they have got someone thinking what to say so that they don't have to pay my claim .I have already spoken to my lawyer incase and he thinks i have got a strong case .
