Bad customer service

I took out a car warranty on my 2007 Chevrolet Aveo, on the phone, I was advised that it's a month to month contract and there is no waiting period. Unfortunately I had an accident and the car got written off. I sent an email for cancellation of which they ignored, I called their call centre, they forwarded my call to their so called cancellation department of which the phone is never answered. Their communication is great when to signing you up but for cancellation they don't respond.
