Mototech Autobody Midrand Poor Workmanship

I am currently busy with a 1958 Ford F100 restoration project. The body work of the project was initially done by Classic Trucks South Africa. Due to numerous reasons Classic Trucks could not finish the project. As I have already paid the full amount for the body work and the spray job, the owner of Classic Trucks had to either repay me or make alternative arrangements. The owner of Classic Trucks then made an arrangement with Rodney Soobramoney ***ner of Mototech) to complete the project. Payment was going to be sorted out via the two of them. After the vehicle was moved to Mototech Autobody's premises I went there for a meeting between myself, Rodney from Mototech and Francois from Classic Trucks. During the meeting Rodney informed us that the workmanship on the vehicle is very bad and that he would have to go back to bare metal and start all over on the project. The price increased from R 10 000.00 (agreed between Rodney and Francois for Francois to pay) to R 34 000.00 because of the extra work that had to be done now. From there the price increased more as the project went on and the final amount was R 54 654.01. When I went to collect the vehicle after completion, I noticed a lot of issues with the paint work. Paint was cracking, it ran at places and the colours were not matching. The areas that I could see was pointed out and Rodney agreed to repair it. Second time round when I was told to come and collect the vehicle I noticed that a lot of the initial problems was not fixed. I left the vehicle again. When I went for the third time to collect the vehicle all seemed in order but the vehicle was covered in dust and made inspection difficult. At home I washed it and immediately saw that the paint work is not up to standard at all. Rodney sent a Rollback truck to collect the vehicle and promised to fix everything. After "fixing" all the issues I collected the vehicle and it did look very good. The vehicle went straight in to a garage and stood for a few months while I awaited parts from the USA. After receiving all the parts I took the vehicle for what was supposed to be the Final Assembly by Ford Fanatics South Africa. The owner of Ford Fanatics called me with shocking news!! They put the vehicle under some lights and the true condition of the spray work was revealed. Paint is cracking, paint colours are different, spots appearing on the paint surface which seems to be happening due to painting over wet body filler. The owner of Mototech has offered to repair the indications but I do not have any trust in their workmanship. He had the complete project and attempted to repair it three times after without success. He is now blaming the poor workmanship from Classic Trucks as the reason but forgets that the price increased drastically due to the fact that he had to start all over and remove everything that Classic Trucks done. Classic Trucks contributed R 20 000.00 to the payment and the rest came from my pocket. I have tried speaking to Rodney but he remains full of excuses and only offers to again attempt to repair the vehicle.
