Motorized Traders - What a nightmare!

I bought a mini cooper from Alex more than a year ago. The car was advertised for R200 000. He then dropped the price to R160 000, which was a bit strange to me. This is where my nightmare started.

I drove the car for 1 week, and then the clutch broke. R29 000 to fix. I told Alex about this. He did not show any empathy.

2 weeks after this, I saw that the car was over heating. I had to replace the whole cooling system. The mechanic told me that the sludge buildup in the system is an indication that this was broken for months.

Then Alex told me that the spare key was faulty, and he thinks it is only the battery. This is also not true. I still need to replace this at a cost of R5700.

I asked him to at least contribute R10 000 to the R60 000 I had to spend on the car. This is now a year later, and he only contributed R5000.

I would never buy a car from Alex again.
