Won't pay out my claim

So i have a service and maintenance plan with Motorite. I could feel that my breaks were an issue as im driving and i made a note that at my next service i would inform Renault to have a look at them and change them if need be. Needless to say, took my car in, mentioned my break story to Renault and they said they would check, they called letting me know that my breaks are worn out and need to be replaced urgently, which is what i suspected, they said they called Motorite and confirmed that i am covered to have the breaks changed but they would want pictures??????? Anyway pictures were sent, hours later i got an email informing me that the breakpad claim had been rejected. I proceeded to call them to find out why as the technicians at Renault had informed me that they were bad, i wad told that as per the pictures they look fine!!!!! I tried to argue that i, the driver can feel they are worn out and the technician who looked at them physically at Renault saw that they are worn.... And pictures could truly not be worth more than physical... Anyway the rude gentleman on phone proceeded to tell me that the technicians at Renault do not know what they are talking about. I have decided that i will be taking the matter up with my lawyers as the maintenance is a service i pay for and therefore should be a service i get.

Dear Madam,  Motorite has reviewed your complaint and duly noted your comments.  As Motorite strongly believes in the application of TCF - the merits of the matter has been reviewed by claims management/supervisor who have app**** reasonability and fairness to the matter, agreed to authorise the claim for the vehicles front brake pads only.  The decision undertaken serves as a gesture of goodwill and does not set any precedent going forward.  Regrettably there was no report of any brake shuddering and the discs appear not to be warped. The ridge reported is minor and the visuals and measurements provided for confirm that the brake discs are still within the manufacturer specifications.  It is with regret we have to advise that there can be no claim in this instance.  Kindly advise if your vehicle has not been repaired as yet should the vehicle still be at Unitrans Automotive A Division Of JDG Trading (Pty) Ltd t/a Auto Mall, or if the said repairs have been completed and paid for by yourself?  Thank you for your cooperation and patience herein. Kind Regards,  Risk Management Complaints Division
