Watch out when extending a maintenance plan with Motorite
<p>It is with disappointment again from the same service provider. My vehicle (ML 320 CDI) was diagnosed as having a faulty shock, due to foreign rattles from the suspension at a Mercedes dealership. My contract with Motorite is due to expire soon, and they are somewhat dragging their feet with the repairs. An assessor evaluated the vehicle yesterday and suggested that the links from both sides should be replaced first and they will further assess. This is trying to play for time, as the diagnostics was done and they should have approved the repairs.</p> <p>I have a comprehensive policy with the said company, however this is the norm when you need their assistance for the entire duration of the contract. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

We wish to advise you that according to our records your claim has already been finalized for the replacement of the vehicles con links which was the only part confirmed to be faulty on your vehicles suspension. The vehicle was independently assessed and no failure could be confirmed to neither the vehicles air matic shocks nor the air bellows. In view of the matter we remain of the opinion that your claim was administered correctly. We therefore disagree with your comments.

A curious question arises :what was the purpose of hiring an independent assessor when the dealership has the experts that use their diagnostic tools to determine a fault.
