Very Bad Customer Experiance

I have an extended mechanical warranty with these people. It is my first time to claim on a 2 year policy already its proving to be a mission for the claim to be accepted despite having sent all the proof they wanted after regecting a claim at first. The dealership has forwaded everything they need to prove that the car was serviced on regular bases.

I have to even go pull and achieved statement for a payment made about 10 months ago to prove that i really paid for that service .Now I am being told this is going to be investigated ? Why do peple waits time investigating things that are in front of them as far as proof is concern ? is it a matter of being incompetant in what they do , hence wanting to act detectives for nothing ? or is it a matter of the company not wanting to payout the claim ?it makes one wonder.

I have another policy with i am highly anticipating to cancel if this is how you deal with your customer . Why must this process be as frastrating as it is right now.

I am taking this up to the next level. Policy No NWC08575S

Dear Sir,

Motorite has reviewed your complaint and noted your comments.

The claim in contention was logged with Motorite on the 26/07/2016 at 202 521 km by Moniques Auto Clinic CC. The repairer reported that both your vehicles front wheel bearings had collapsed and required to be replaced. The normal claims procedure was followed whereby we requested the vehicles service record, written failure report and quotation.

Motorite was advised that there were no service records available, at this point we established that your vehicle was overdue for a service by 15 280 km and 94 days over and above the allowed leeway. The service intervals for your vehicle is 15 000 km or 12 moths with the leeway of 1 500 km or 30 days before or after the required service interval.

Motorite proceeded in rejecting the claim for the wheel bearings due to irregular servicing and also suspending the policy for 90 days from the date of the last service still to be done.

Servicing and maintenance of your vehicle in line with the manufacturers specifications is of vital importance, to firstly, keep your policy valid and secondly to ensure the longevity of the vehicles mechanical components and the reasonable maintenance of the vehicle.

Only after the claim had been rejected was a service record provided- Motorite required proof of such in order to validate the service records accordingly.

It is pertinent to remind you that in order for us to process a claim and assess it accordingly, in line with the agreed policy terms and conditions, we require all information to be reviewed as these determine the overall outcome of the claim. To the very beginning of the said claim, we did not received the requested service history to afford us enough leverage to assess the claim accordingly.

The information that you have since provided has been reviewed to ensure validity thereof. We have now started the claims process – we are awaiting report and pictures from the repairer.

Thanking you in advance for your patience and cooperation herein

Regards,

Motorite Administrators (Pty) Ltd
