******* BY MOTORITE
I feel that the way Motorite operates is unfair. regardless of your \t's & c's\"<br> It's still unfair business practice!! (I feel)<br> <br> Whether my policy was financed of bought cash, If I bought a policy of 24months and only claimed twice. If I do not need the policy anymore, within the 24months. Shouldn't the rest of my money be refunded for the remaining months ?<br> <br> I WAS TOLD BY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT THAT ACCORDING TO THE T'S & C'S, THERE IS NO REFUND GIVEN IF YOU HAVE CLAIMED ON YOUR POLICY. <br> <br> "

10 Mar 2016, 09:33Hello siphiwe.majikela,
Good Day Sir/Madam,
Motorite have reviewed your complaint - we wish to respond as follows:
In the event of the Warranty being cancelled by a Policyholder, commissions and costs (including inspection fees, where applicable), are deducted from the premium. Any remaining balance will be paid out on a pro-rata basis dependent on the unexpired period of the Warranty. The above-mentioned payment is subject to the terms and conditions of the Warranty having been comp**** with and no claims having been paid out against the Warranty.
Unfortunately due to the above terms and conditions of the warranty policy and due to Motorite having already authorized and paid out two previous claims - we cannot offer any assistance with regards to any refund amount.
The mechanical breakdown policy is not only subject to exclusions but also subject to the terms and conditions being adhered to - terms and conditions serves relevant to all policies.
Regards,
Motorite Administrators (Pty) Ltd
