<p>Not at all impressed!!!! </p> <p>I paid R10,000 for my 2012 Honda Civic's extended warranty and now they want to pay out half when I cancelled it just 4 days after it was supposed to take effect!! </p> <p> </p> <p>Also, they don't even want to pay it back to me - I paid cash for it and they want to pay as little as possible to Wesbank???!!! *******!!!!! I will not stand for this - you are bullies and are a *******!!!!</p>

Motorite has reviewed this complaint and noted the policy holder’s comments.
It must be noted that the policy incepted on the 19/05/2015 at 42 253 km and was set to run for a period of 2 years.
As the policy has been in force since 19/05/2016, Motorite are therefor only liable to refund a pro rata amount back – our records further indicate that the applicable refund amount has been duly refunded into your personal account as provided on the cancellation documents in which you had completed. The cancellation was processed in accordance with the policy terms and conditions in which refers:
Cancellations
In the event of the Warranty being cancelled by a Policyholder, commissions and costs (including inspection fees, where applicable), are deducted from the premium. Any remaining balance will be paid out on a pro-rata basis dependent on the unexpired period of the Warranty. The above-mentioned payment is subject to the terms and conditions of the Warranty having been comp**** with and no claims having been paid out against the Warranty. Refunds will in the first instance be made to any financier of the Warranty.
Motorite remains of the opinion that the cancellation was administered correctly and in line with the policy terms and conditions.
