rejection of claim

According to my maintenance plan it is valid for a period of 5 years or 90 000 kms ending today 29/10/2015.I took the Toyota Verso to the dealership in Centurion. I was told that the brake pads, water pump and wiperblades needed to be replaced and Motorite has only given authorisation for the service as the car was late for it's service? I feel I did not get a fair deal on this maintenance plan

Hello yasmin6360,

Dear Madam,

Motorite has reviewed your complaint and noted your comments. Our records indicate that you have breached the contract terms and conditions by servicing your vehicle outside of the manufacturers specifications. Your vehicle is currently booked in for the annual 90 000 km service and other maintenance repairs. This service is late by 110 days over and above the 30 day allowed leeway. This is also the 2nd late service carried out on your vehicle - the first being for the annual 45 000 km service. It order to enjoy the full benefit of a maintenance contract, the onus is upon the customer to ensure that the maintenance contract terms and conditions are being adhered to. Motorite authorized the service as a gesture of goodwill - regrettably the rest of the repairs will be for your own account.
