refuse to pay claim

I took my car in Monday 02-03-2015 to Barons Culemborg as I heard a funny noise on my car the car still has a Maintenance plan and extended Warranty with Motorite by Wednesday I didn't hear anything from VW and I inquired and was told they waiting for Motorite to process the claim, I called Motorite and they told me they need to send out a assessor as the claim was very high they sent some one the following Monday after I called I was told my claim will be processed asap but management must sign it off by today Wednesday 11-03-2015 I was told that by VW didn't submit documentation for the claim that's why its still outstanding then I get a email stating the following Ok , we do not pay for precautionary measures , we can only pay for confirmed mechanical failure on components

I will conclude the High value claim to Management this is now 10 days, Motorite is stalling the entire process and now I'm without a car even though I have a extended warranty and maintenance plan with them

Hello joann31,

Dear Madam,

According to our records the vehicle was only ready for assessment on the 06/03/2015 (Friday) - unfortunately we could only arrange for an assessor to inspect the vehicle on the 09/03/2015 (Monday). The repairs quoted for on the vehicle amounts to +- R46 000 - with this said - Motorite submitted a high value claims template to management for review and sign off. It should be noted that there were certain parts on the quote that the dealer wants to replace as precautionary measures - unfortunately if there is no failure to a part then it cannot be replaced - hence the email referenced in your complaint. This claim will be signed off and finalized today.
