REFUSAL TO PAYT CLAIM
30/4/2015 my dashboard was flashing the water sign that I needed to fill water, upon inspection it was discovered that the radiator was faulty. Called Motorite but went through to their voicerecording stating that they dont work on weekends.04/5/2015 AT 08H00 I called them and was assisted by Martin at claims dept who arranged for the towing of the car as it couldnt be driven for fear of further damange. He also advised me that I needed to pay the towing company upfront and claim from Motorite and they will refund to a maximum of R1000, the towing company charged me R1200. The car was then towed to VW and Audi Clinic in Umthatha where it was repaired. I paid for the repairs and towing out of my pocket, upon arriving back home I then submitted the claims documents fr a refund, Martin from Motorite called me on 14/5/2015 to advise me that the claim has been rejected due to non authorisation, I fail to understand this as Martin contacted the towing company himself and kept on calling to check if they had arrived. I feel its unfair that they are refusing to pay my claim for repairs and towing and are not sticking to their contract. My car was still under their warranty at the time.
