Refusal to pay claim!!
I purchased a Jeep in December 2014 with a current/valid motorplan. Just before my motorplan was due to expire, I took out a motorplan with Motorite.

True as f#$k! They denied my first claim, about 4 months after the plan came into effect.

Apparently my service record is not up to date and 2 services were carried out late. If so, then why did JEEP SA never query the validity of the motorplan? According to Motorite, the vehicle needs to be serviced according to manufacturer's spec's. JEEP never queried the service intevals, BUT Motorite does? HOW? WHY?

They're a BS company - always have been and always will be - I refused to sell Motorite policies when I worked for Wesbank, it's been 15 years - nothing has changed - they still don't pay the claims.

Dear Sir ,
Motorite has reviewed this complaint and noted the policy holder's comments.
Upon receiving your vehicles service record - the vehicles service record was not in line with the manufacturers specifications. As per the manufacturer the said vehicle has a standard service interval which is every 20 000 km or 12 months whichever occurs first. The applicable service leeway's are 1 500 km or 30 days either side of the service parameter reached first, that being kilometres or time. Our records indicate: 40 000km service was late by 1 055 km over and above the allowed leeway, 60 000km service late by 37 days over and above the allowed leeway. Servicing and maintenance of your vehicle in line with the manufacturers specifications is of vital importance, to firstly, keep your plan valid and secondly to ensure the longevity of the vehicles mechanical components and the reasonable maintenance of the vehicle. Motorite remains of the opinion that the claim was administered correctly and in line with the maintenance plans terms and conditions.
