Raw deal to ***gy Back Couriers

I am the owner of ***gy Back Couriers an Distributors Pty. Ltd. In March 2019 I purchased two Commercial Vehicles from S4 Auto for the Business. These vehicles 2012 Mercedes 113CDI Vitos were bought with SAFY 24 month Mechanical Warranties. Shortly after taking delivery of these Vehicles, I was informed by S4 Auto that Warranties were canceled and that Warranties for Commercial Vehicles would be replacing the original warranties. For the one Vehicle a Warranty was offered to me which I have signed for, but I have a pending claim for a Right Rear wheel-speed sensor which needs to be replaced. For three weeks now I have been running back and forth just to get the claim authorized, but due "Red Tape" the claim is still hanging in the air. S4 Auto and the Warranty Company are happy because I am making monthly payments , but I have to work with a Vehicle with a faulty sensor and the other vehicle still has no Warranty. This complaint I will forward to the Ombudsman for his attention, as I feel for three months now I have been patient and even today I was promised a "Pre- delivery service report which has to be given to Motorite before they authorize the claim. This never happened and I received no Phone call as was promised to me this morning. What is there in these deals which protects the "client" who pays the monthly installments????? Phone Numbers: S4 Auto *** Persons - Vanessa Naidoo and Vauhan Bosse. Motorite *** Brian / Shaun

Dear Sir,  Motorite has reviewed your complaint and duly noted your comments – it is with great concern we received your social media complaint outlining the problem you had with our service.  During our investigation of this complaint – we noted that a claim was logged on the 26/06/2019 at 123 287 km by CSC 47 Trading CC t/a Car Service City Jet Park for the replacement of the vehicles right rear ABS sensor that was found to be faulty due to wear and tear.  The normal claims procedure was followed whereby we requested the vehicles service record, written failure report and quotation.  It is pertinent to mention that it is a condition of this policy that the vehicle shall be serviced and maintained in accordance with the frequency and content stipulated by the manufacturer in the service schedule of the owner’s handbook. In addition - in the event that the vehicle has been purchased without an up-to-date service history, the vehicle is then serviced within 30 days of policy purchase.  Unfortunately our records indicate that no service records were available and therefore we requested for the pre-delivery service done before the vehicle was released in order to firstly validate the policy and secondly, to afford us enough leverage to assess the claim accordingly.  We are pleased to inform you that the pre-delivery invoice will be shortly received by claims.  Upon receipt thereof - claims have been advised to proceed with authenticating the claim in contention. Once this has been processed, we will inform you of the outcome thereof.  Thank you for your cooperation and patience herein. Kind Regards,  Risk Management Complaints Division
