Poor Service and Always a reason not to Pay

The recommendation of the dealership was that all 4 Coiled should be replaced. The words of the technician were, we normally recommend that all 4 are replaced as when one goes its only a matter of time that the other goes. Motorite then only approved the replacement of one as that caused the breakdown. Claim R3500 I had to pay for the diagnotics report (this was to find out what is wrong the Car) costing me about R1500

My car then went in for the steering column to be replaced. The quote was R26000 and motorite approved the claim for R21000 which left me with a R5000 paying. Even though my policy reflected that I have unlimited amount to claim for the Steering

As the car was pulled from the floor in the workshop it started to misfire. Back on the computer and guess what… all 3 the other coils and some or other filter had to be replaced costing me an additional R6500. Because a part of the Small print they will not proses two claims at the same time.

That is after I paid an R10000 for the extended warrantee. This leaves me with two thoughts. Never would I get another policy with motorite nor would I buy another Audi.

That I will guarantee

Dear Sir,
Motorite has reviewed your complaint and noted your comments – we wish to respond as follows:
It was initially reported that your vehicles steering rack was fasulty and required to be replaced. After the claims administration process we duly authorised the full amount quoted for the steering rack.
Further on, the repairer advised that your vehicle Started Misfiring, Coils 1, 3, 4 were faulty and required to be replaced. At this point Motorite proceeded to reject the claim for your vehicles number 1, 3, 4 Coils as we had already at this point authorised the claim for your vehicle steering rack.
The policy wording refers:
More Than One Failure At The Same Time: Regardless of how many failures happen at the same time, only one covered part failure will be entertained (the higher benefit cover will apply). We shall, at our discretion, apply the maxlimit clause, as per the limits of liability for the covered component. Repairs to the remaining failed part or parts will be for your own account should maxlimit not be allowed.
We note that this is also not the first claim that has been submitted and authorised – all claims to date have been duly administered in accordance with the relevant terms and conditions. We therefore remain of the opinion that the claim was administered correctly and in line with the policy terms and conditions.
Regards

Whether you feel you have dealt with my claim sufficiently does not concern me. As the client I feel you did not deal with it as you should have and that is why I wrote on this forum. I wrote to warn other people about your poor service and always finding a reason not to pay. As simple as that.
