Motorite warranty extender beware of these *******

Motorite maintenance extender this is the worst experience I have ever had. These people are quick to take your money but when it's time for the cover to stop they don't want to cancel it and they keep deducting your money even though you're not benefiting. When you try to make an enquiry they hang up the phone while you are still talking. They are busy ripping me off R588 for nothing.

Dear Madam,

This letter serves to confirm that we have reviewed the merits of your Hello Peter complaint received on the 06/04/2021.

After a thorough review of your case, we noted that the WesBank used maintenance plan (VFV15261E) had expired on the 25/01/2021 and is no longer active for claiming purposes.

It is pertinent to mention that the product is loaded over the balance of the vehicle asset and finance period and not just over the period of the contract, whereby the cost price of the maintenance was paid up front to Motorite and this amount was financed over the full term of your vehicle asset and finance account inclusive of interest.

Therefore, the instalment will be inclusive of your vehicle's instalment until the account is fully settled or closed. So even if the term of the contract has been expired, you will be still paying for it until the finance account is settled in full.

Further to our investigation we noted that you have an Options monthly service plan in place which has duly been cancelled due to two unsuccessful premiums being met and is too no longer active for claiming purposes.

Our records indicate that March was rejected due to no authority to debit and April’s double debit was rejected due to insufficient funds.

Kind Regards,

Risk Management Complaints Division
