Motorite refuses to cover my 90 000 KM service while I have a service plan that covers me until 90 000 KM.
I have a service plan with Motorite that covers me until the 90 000 KM. Now my car is in for a 90 000 KM service and Motorite is saying my policy expired last year. My car is only going for a 90 000 service plan now.
My policy number is: OMS***

This letter serves to confirm that we have reviewed the merits of your complaint received on the 16/11/2020.
The product that forms the basis of this complaint is an Options service plan administered by Motorite Administrators (Pty) Ltd. The service plan provides cover for the routine services as scheduled by the manufacturer. The service plan incepted on the 07/08/2014 at 0 km and runs for a period of 5 years and up to 90 000 km - the expiry of this plan is dependent on whichever is reached first.
Based on the before mentioned contract parameters – 5 years / 90 000 km – our records indicate that the service plan has expired by date as of the 07/08/2019 before reaching 90 000 km.
It is with great regret to advise that the service plan has duly expired and no longer active for claiming purposes.
Should you not be happy with the outcome, you are at liberty to seek further recourse that is made available to you. Thereafter you may institute legal proceeding within 180 Days of receipt of this letter, failing which we will have no further liability in terms of this policy.
