Motorite - Not Paying a Claim for Oil Cooler
My Landrover's oil cooler has broken down. Motorite covers all engiine parts and also the Cooling System, although, according to their claims department, the oil cooler is NOT part of the cooling system and also not part of the engine. Therefor, it is not covered at all. The policy is supposed to cover all mechanical parts, except for the ones that you want to claim for.

Motorite has reviewed your complaint and noted your comments. Motorite only act as the appointed claims administrator in this instance and are obligated to administer all claims in accordance with the policy terms and conditions.
The engine oil cooler is not listed as a covered part under this mechanical breakdown warranty - neither under the engine nor the cooling system benefit category. The policy lists all the components covered under the respective benefits. In view of this - the claim was rejected as the engine oil cooler is not covered by the warranty.
