Motorite is a ****.
On purchasing my vehicle in May of 2016, I was informed by Wesbank that I had also received an additiobal Motorite insurance for my vehicle , which covered certain parts and service. I subsequently received a call from a motorite agent who went through the process of formalizing the policy with me. However I did not and have not received any documentation or further information about this policy. Today when I contacted motorite about having my vehicle's brake pads replaced, I was informed that the policy had expired at 60 000 km. I think that it is ********* of the company to NOT Inform me of the impending expiry as well as to fail to provide me with information on my policy. Also it is shocking that no rebates are applicable if the policy was never used. I shall be addressing this issue on social media where I will be advising all and sundry to research the complaints on this company before accepting a policy from them.

Dear Sir,
Motorite has investigated your complaint and have duly noted your comments – we wish to respond as follows:
The product that forms the basis of this complaint is a WesBank Motor Drive 1 (Plan A) Top Up Maintenance Plan administered by Motorite Administrators (Pty) Ltd. The maintenance plan provides cover for maintenance and mechanical repairs needed by the vehicle because of normal wear and tear and mechanical failure. The maintenance top up plan incepted on the 03/10/2016 at 12 696 km and runs for a period of 5 years and up to 60 000 km – the expiry of this plan is dependent on whichever is reached first. This plan was sold to you as a top up on your vehicles built in service plan with the manufacturer. The sale of this Top Up Maintenance Plan was facilitated telephonically through a mandated intermediary called The Engine Room Direct Solutions (Pty) Ltd.
Our records indicate that upon analysis of the sales call recording and as per the copy of contract sent via email on the 06/10/2016, it would appear that the relevant contract terms and conditions were duly advised and issued to you at point of sale. It was advised to you that this contract would run for 5 years and up to 60 000km and would expire on whichever is reached first.
Based on the fact that no claims were reported for the duration of this contract – the merits of the matter was further discussed with senior claims who have agreed to review your claim for the brake pads, in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.
Please note that our claims department will be in further contract with you to attain the necessary documents in order to log the claim, in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.
We trust this outcome meets your satisfaction
Thank you for your patience herein.
Kind regards
