MOTORITE AGENTS 2 FACED WITH WRONG FACTS
My turbo in my car blew and I immediately contacted Motorite regarding my warranty. I was told by the agent that I should take my car to any mechanic and that once it is authorised I will receive a COURTESY CAR! I then take my car to CPI just to find out that motorite doesn't accept this because CPI isn't one of their registered mechanics!! So it was my duty to get CPI to register or go elsewhere! It had already been a week and I received wrong advice. I have been using a bus to work and it is has been a frustrating experience so when the authorisation is finally about to take place and I get a call confirming this, an agent tells me that motorite offers \CAR HIRE"now and I will need to pay for this!! SO WHAT if this is the hidden details I NEVER saw! To be fair"
Dear Sir,
Motorite has reviewed your complaint and noted your comments. Our records indicate that you were correctly and adequately advised on both the claims as well as the car hire procedures. Car hire is only available 24 hrs after the claim has been authorized. Your claim is currently still intimated. Due to remaining impartial - Motorite could not refer you to a specific repairer but rather advised you to take the vehicle to either the manufacturer, or a Motorite approved repairer. You were then given the number of the RMI regional office to locate a repairer closest to you. Lastly - you were advised to consult with your policy wording as everything was clearly explained therein. We remain of the opinion that we have acted correctly in this instance.
