Miway warranty and Motorite underwriters horror
Made a claim with this company for my dodge caliber and it was rejected on the basis of that the mechanical component which is the throttle body with oil pump is not listed on covered items, when in fact I had made a similar claim in 2015 27 October and the throttle body was covered and claim paid out. I called Motorite and was assisted by Thabo, who can confirm the claim has been payed before but cannot give reasons why it is being rejected and then transfered me fnb complaints, what a joke. Now I've been calling both Motorite and Miway and not getting any assistance and my car needs to be fixed. What kind of business has no complaints line?. Motorite is just a ****. I need assistance please

It is with great concern we received your e-mail outlining the problem you had with our service.
It is pertinent to mention that the warranty policy does not list the throttle body as a covered component.
It should be noted that under the components covered section you will see a detailed list of the covered components arising from the mechanical and/or electrical failure. If a component is not listed, then unfortunately it will not be covered.
However - as Motorite strongly believes in the application of TCF and therefore the merits of the claim has been reviewed by claims management who have app**** reasonability and fairness to the matter, agreed to authorise the claim for the vehicles throttle body under the respective fuel system benefit category, up to the maximum limit of liability allowed by the policy, for an amount of R 4 000.00 including VAT.
A claims agent has been allocated to assist further with the authorisation to be app****. Once this has been processed you will receive an SMS notification thereof.
We sincerely apologize for any frustrations and inconvenience that this may have caused in this regard.
