Maintenance plan

Hi.
I own a vw polo blue motion. In April 2017 the dealership informed me that the current maintenance plan (with motorite) on my vehicle has expired. I renewed my maintenance plan (2 years 40 000km maintenance plan) which was financed by Wes bank. One of the terms of the extended maintenance plan was that it could only be used after the car has been driven for a further 10 000km. My vehicle is in good condition and all services have been done on time. So I accepted the terms without hesitation. About a week or 2 ago ( July 2017) my car started giving me trouble and was over-Revving. When I took it into the vw dealership they had advised me that the clutch was gone and this is the first time in the 6 years i have the car. This is expected considering the clutch hasn't been changed in 6 years. My extended maintenance plan was taken with motorite. i recently paid up the full balance of my car and maintenance plan. Motorite , after evaluating my car and concluding that the clutch is damaged, strongly advised that they will not cover the damage until the car does a further 10 000km. I understand it is a condition that I agreed to, however how can a company that specializes and deals with vehicles on regular basis expect a customer to drive a car with the clutch being impaired for a further 10 000km. This is an unforeseen circumstance. How was I to know that this was going to happen. Does motorite not have policies in place to address anomalies such as this. What should I as a consumer be expected to do in an instance such as this?
That is not a reasonable request and they are essentially telling the customer to drive a car that is not road worthy for a further 10 000km before they can perform the necessary maintenance required.

Do they not value the lives of their customers? Are they willing to allow customers to drive vehicles that they know full well should not be driven. Or is it that they received their cash and do not care what happens afterwards. The service delivery received from motorite is pathetic and inhuman. They show no concern or remorse for their customers. I would not advise anyone to use this company.

Please advise on a way foward as I am very disappointed and appalled by the service received. My vehicle is still in the VW garage pending approval from motorite to go ahead with the replacement of the clutch.
