Lots of fine print that doesnt exist, and day light *******.

<p>I brought myself a bmw 116i from a dealership who then sold me motorite with an extended warranty and service plan, less than 3 months after getting my car, the lambda sensor failed so i took it to get fixed being told that motorite will cover the entire cost. </p> <p> </p> <p>It took motorite a couple of days to get back to the dealership that gave a quote of R9600, but this quote also included spark plugs and the air filter. having both the service and warranty i was told motorite will cover it all... i recieved a call from the service centre to find out that motorite only approved for R5300 of the total R9600. when i recieved my car i found out that motorite didnt even approve the spark plugs and filter. <br /><br />When i asked them why they didnt cover those items seeing as they are apart of the service plan, thier response </p> <p>"Your service plan covers spark plugs and filters when they are scheduled to be changed, meaning when they form part of a particular service schedule as set out by the manufacturer.</p> <p>These parts are unfortunately not covered where they form part of maintenance / mechanical related repairs."<br /><br />I then asked them for a full list of items that are included as well as the items that are exluded from both plans, and all they do is send me the transaction schedule, which doesnt state any of the items covered. The spark plugs and filters came up to R1500 in total. </p> <p> </p> <p>Motorite have too many fine prints and clauses that you never see because you are not actually given any proper documentation. </p> <p> </p> <p>If i could recommend them to anyone, i'd tell them to rather just pay fot the parts yourself cos you'll be saving yourself R20 000 on these plans from the start. because thats how much my policy came to. </p> <p> </p> <p>Motorite, you suck... </p>
