Do not use them, also FNB should not bundle/ressell such bad service.

They make claiming so difficult and at the end reject everything.

First claim I tried I had a broken exhaust on my car. After trying to find a place (I went to 5) that were willing to deal with them (as no mechanic wanted to deal with them) I took it to a RMI place and they spent 3 hours back and forth with them. In the end I gave up and cancelled it as I cant wait 4 hours at the mechanic for them to sort this out. Time is money! So I cancelled the quote and paid for the exhaust issue out of my pocket (took 20min to fix) a week later.

Two years later my cars gasket blew. I paid 29k to get the engine fixed. My mechanic said they gave him the run around and he ended up not dealing with them. I paid him in full. Car working plus I got 12 month and 40k warranty from the RMI mechanic.

According to the contract they were suppose to cover between 2 and 10k of the damages. However they refused as they said they need to inspect the car in the beginning. So basically just like the exhaust claim they make it difficult, waste the mechanics time and give everyone the run around until the time you spend (time is money) sorting it out cost more than what you can even claim for hence nullifying the claim.

I have claimed for car accident, theft, household, building before and I never had such a run around and unpleasant experience. I work indirectly with the insurance industry on a daily basis, and have dealt with many insurance companies before with my own private claims, and this one is the absolute worst.

I have cancelled with them.

Don't use them its not worth it. No wonder they have such bad reviews.

Also FNB sold me their service plan as a FNB product. Would I have knnow it is motorite with ssuch bad track record I would have never taken it.
