Disappointing service from Motorite Administrators
Dear Sir/Madam

I wish to hereby report the poor service received from Motorite, despite having a legal and binding contract with them. My vehicle is at a dealership(NMI - Umhlanga) for repairs whom requested a range of repairs to the vehicle but Motorite has declined some of it because they feel that its not due until the next service. The problem I am faced with is that the dealership wants me to take an undertaken that they are not responsible if anything goes wrong on the vehicle if the additional work is not done, yet I have a comprehensive maintenance plan that does not cover me for this repair. This is very poor service offered from Motorite as should anything go wrong with the vehicle, they will claim that I have been negligent with the vehicle and therefore will not pay.
Dear Sir,
Motorite has reviewed your complaint and noted your comments. According to our records the only 2 items that were not authorized aside from the rest of your vehicles repairs were the air filter and diesel filter. It should be noted that your vehicle does condition based servicing and the CBS sensors monitors the condition of these filters - they are therefore only replaced once the sensors indicate that they require replacement. This was not the case in this instance hence the reason why they were not covered. It is clearly stipulated in your maintenance contract terms and conditions that service products or items will not be covered between services. Regrettably the replacement of these components will be for your own account. Motorite remains of the opinion that your claim was administered correctly and in line with the contract terms and conditions.
