Claim wrongly repudiated
My claim on my vehicle had just been rejected on my vehicle after over a week of back and forth. It was approved in principle on my discussion with Clint in claims only to be rejected due to the work already being done before an assessor arrived. This was not done on my approval and I will be submitted a signed affidavit to my attorney stating I was told the dealer and motorite will handle the paperwork and quotes etc. I will be suing you for damages and costs and I have won one if these cases before. I suggest you contact me before I start legal proceedings on Monday. The fault lies between you and the workshop and before the costs on this rise from 5k to 25k I suggest you sort it out. I hope sanity prevails.

Dear Sir,
At no point did Motorite give any indication that the claim would be authorised. Your claim was logged on the 11/02/2016 - the repairer reported a fuel pressure related problem and this was caused by a faulty fuel pump. We then requested the vehicles service record, failure report, diagnostics and a quotation. At first we were advised that there were no fault codes present - the vehicle was then assessed only to establish that the faulty component had already been replaced without Motorites approval. We then later received vehicle diagnostics however this could not be verified that it was for the vehicle in question. The claim was reviewed by senior claims management and regrettably the claim was declined for repair work done without Motorites approval which is a clear breach of the policy terms and conditions. We remain of the opinion that the claim was administered correctly and in line with the policy terms and conditions.
