claim rejected
I have taken my Car in for service at Barons as normal, this was for the 60000ks service and the last service as per the plan contract.

A mechanical problem was found that needs to be attended to as per attached and below correspondences.

Disturbing news when I called(Motorite) and spoke to Clint whom referred me to his supervisor Theo in one accord they said there is nothing that can be done as my car is sitting @ 60575 they cannot help, the car needs to be at 60000ks on the clock for such to be rendered which I find it impossible especially with a leigh way in place (for one not the other)

Even though yes they admit the leigh way of 1500km extra but that does not cover any repairs that may be detected (Which makes no sense to me ).

Moreover

Hello mohlome2,

Dear Sir,

Our records indicate that your maintenance plan ended when your vehicle reached 60 000 km. Your contract wording clearly refers that your Contract Kilometers means the kilometer reading which, when reached, will terminate this Optimum Motor Drive Maintenance Plan, as stated on the proposal form (this is the same as \expiry kilometers\") The plan allows for service leeways within the contract parameters up to 1 500km for petrol engine vehicles or 1 000km for diesel engine vehicles or 30 days either side of the Manufacturer or an annual specified service interval
