************ Car Dealings with client
Good Day I collected a used vehicle (specifying it’s not new because they keep reminding me it’s not new) from Nissan JHB Motordeal. On day of collection: 1)Vehicle was not washed, took it the car was after; 2)Had a brown mark (requiring spray work) over the diesel cap lid (asked to take care of it out of pocket) 3)Front passenger seat belt mechanism broken (fixed by dealer) 4)Forced to pay R2 700 to transfer motor plan from previous owner to my name 5)Cracked front passenger visor (first replaced by a glass and upon refusal, dealer has bought the original BMW visor after dealer told me I’m stupid for requiring & spending on original parts with no use) 6)Liquid spilled controller /iDrive Dealer, being cheap skates, took in the car to defiantly clean long-standing liquid spill at Nissan. Car returned with a cracked windscreen & the controller no longer even changing or working on the instrument cluster. Each time I attended the above, I was using diesel at my own costs. They once called a cheap Bolt and it was stopped by metro cops en route to work. Misser meetings and was late for work. I am losing time and money, these hiccups are affecting my work schedule. Asked for 2 second opinions incl from BMW. They advise is once tampered with, 80-90% chance controller will not work again. Even after this, the rude and condescending boss is refusing to take it to BMW and replace. He asked me take to Mototechnik whom I have never dealt with. This is to avoid paying or replacing the controller/iDrive at all costs I asked they take the car back and cancel the deal on Sunday. Yesterday, 15 July, sent them quotes to replace. Silence. They are using silence hoping I will go away. I want to return the car and cancel the dealings if this is the case. I’ve already lost diesel costs, motorplan transfer costs I was never supposed to pay, there’s remaining fuel cap spray work outstanding. It’s not worth the stress of dealing with them. Still met with silence which is very shady and dishonest dealings for people supposedly in business and who care for customer queries and concerns.
