Do not do business with MotorHappy and Liquid Capital Capital
I have never dealt with such an *********, dishonest insurance company in my life. I logged a complaint after trying to claim for a service plan I have with them. I tried to claim on the 2nd of August and I was rejected and told a different story to what their consultant who sold me the service plan. I called in to dispute and asked for a recording on the 2nd of August last month and was told and agent would get back to me a query has been logged. I received communication via email towards the end of the month 3 weeks later. I was told an agent would call me and play me the recording and to date no one has. I have called them 2 times already doing a follow up and I keep getting told I'll be called back. I eventually told them I want to cancel the policy with them and again I was told I'll be called back but to date no one has. They want to keep debiting my account but do not live up to their promises. I warn anyone reading this to not get into business with them or to cancel if they are already in. You will thank me later.

As per the feedback received from the Administrator, your Service Plan has been cancelled as per your request and the last debit order was on the 1 August 2021.
When purchasing the Service Plan you advised that your vehicle was on 122 000km and the cover you purchased was to start covering your car from the 135 000km scheduled service. The claim you wanted to put through on the car was the 120 000km service which was not part of the cover and therefore not authorised.
An agent from customer care has sent you an email with the full details of your case and is awaiting your response regarding the playing of the sales call for you. Kindly respond to the email from the agent for them to play the sales call for you, alternatively you can contact the call centre on ***to assist with this.

I took the plan when my kilometers were 122 00km and your consultant said I'll be able to take my car after 4 paid premiums or at 125 000km. I did not claim for 120 000km but for 125 000km. How can I claim for 120 000km but I had already drove more than that.

You are correct that services will only be covered after the waiting period of the first 4 premiums has passed successfully. However there is only a leeway of 1500km after a scheduled mileage has been passed in order for the service to be covered. This leeway had already passed for the 120 000km service when you purchased the cover initially and therefore would not be part of the plan.
We are sorry for the confusion and inconvenience, as advised the sales call is available for you to listen to in terms of the cover you purchased, kindly contact customer care directly on ***.
