Extremely bad service

As per my previous letter dated 20 November 2017, since I had not received any correspondence from your office. After many phone calls that I have made from my side, just to know how this case is progressing. The only response that I got from your office is promises that you will keep in touch. Nothing has been done to resolve my problem this far. I can’t be held responsible for paying my car that is not fixed. This is a matter of urgency! Please respond as soon as possible. Kind regards,

Herewith I Mr PJ Mahlangu, wants to raise a complaint against Mr Kobus Erwee, from Motor City Middelburg. I PJ Mahlangu bought a car (DAIHATSU TERIOS, HLH209MP), on the 6th July 2017 from Mr Kobus Erwee, at Motor City Middelburg. As from day one I had problems with the car. One week after I bought the car, on 13 July 2017, I went back to Kobus and discussed the problems that I had with the car. • There was no stabilizer at the back. • The front shocks was badly worn. • Suspension noise in front. • Battery old not working properly. • Tyres at the back badly worn. • No service book available/no service records. I had to replace the battery and the two tyres at the back on my own cost. Kobus agreed to order and replace the front shocks, add the stabilizer and check the suspension noise and promised next time he will have the service book available. After taking my car to be fixed, he said that everything was done, but in actual fact nothing was done. Not the stabilizer or the shocks was ordered and none of it was fixed. I said to Kobus that this car is not safe to drive with, when you get to a speed hump the spring falls out because of the stabilizer that is not there – I discussed this with Kobus and showed him pictures of the incident. And still nothing has been done. After lots of discussions and phone calls and empty promises nothing is done. If I phone him now, he has a bad attitude, yelling and screaming and then he don’t want to discuss the issue. All I want is for these things to be fixed, I am paying a lot of money for this car.
