Bad Workmanship

Took my Corsa Utiliy to check for a fuel leak (car was smelling of fuel on the outside) They said it was a faulty seal that they had to replace. Left the car there , paid R400 for the seal and just over a thousand rand for the service. Car worked fine for about a week or so, then it started to smell again. This time it started to leak fuel slowly. Took it back, they said there is a crack on the housing of the pump and I will need to wait a month for a replacement.

Me and a friend pulled the tank and found that they replaced the seal that didn't even fit the car, looked like it was from another vehicle and they tried to shoehorn it in where it clearly didnt fit. The fault was indeed with the plastic housing (pos plastic parts, of course). I got the correct fuel pump seal from the deal FOR FREE.

Either they were the ones who broke it in the first place or they somehow didn't see it. Either way I paid R400 for the seal which wasnt even correct, so they ****med me on that big time.

At least they changed the oil and filter without setting fire to the car.

Do not recommend. Plenty of other mechanics in the area, this is typical 0/10 South African service.
