Dangerous Negligence and Refusal to Take Responsibility After Damaging a Bike Tire
Absolutely shocking and unacceptable service. They damaged my friend’s bike tire while removing it from the rim — and charged for it. When the damage was pointed out, they dismissed it and assured us the tire was “fine” and safe to ride. One week later, a bubble appeared in the tire, making the bike completely unsafe and undriveable. Now, after clearly causing the damage, they are refusing to take any responsibility or replace the tire. What if he had been riding on the highway when this happened? This could have resulted in a serious accident. Their carelessness and lack of accountability are beyond frustrating. At the very least, they should offer to cover part of the cost of a new tire, since the damage happened because of their mistake. An utter disappointment. I would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them with their bike.
