I received an invite to an interview from a Pearl Zondo on Tuesday 06 July 2021 via Indeed. The supposed interview was scheduled for the next day. The emailed interview invite requested documents and R315 for ITC Checks and ******** Record checks.
On the day of the supposed interview, myself and many others were called into a boardroom at the said venue. We were addressed by a Pearl Zondo who said that today we will only hand in documents and the money. She also said the receipt for the funds will be emailed to us and that we will receive a call in 3 days w.r.t. the position. The very next day I called to inquire about this receipt. I was told the position is no longer available and that I should stop bothering her.

She is now now operating under the name Busisiwe (company unknown) and continuing to de***** jobseekers. The modus operandi is the however the same i.e. lure jobseekers to an interview with the request for documents and a small fee for Credit checks and Police clearance certificates. A few days later the hopeful, unsuspecting candidate is offered a post at some far of location like Medupi Power Station and requesting a much larger sum of money (running into the thousands), for accommodation costs.
Be advised, there is no job and this is a ****!
The authorities are on to this lady and she will be nabbed one day.
