Contract cancellations

I have found out that for 2 months subscription fees was deducted although my contract expired December 2019. Called Motion Fitness Worcester, the lady told me at the back of the contract is says you must cancel (who reads that ?)

My question is: Is there not personnel who looks at upcoming contract ending dates who can inform members of this? Or will they just keep on deducting
