Unsatisfactory service - paid for broken product

A overall disappoint experience! The initial interaction was quick, pleasant and effective. Payment could easily be made via EFT. The issue arose when the product arrived with a courier - 3 of the 4 cement men ordered where broken (hand & feet). When inquiring how to resolve the issue, it was clearly stated no refunds, yet a replacement was offered at my cost (meaning they wanted me to pay for the product and courier again!). On further insistence of replacements, it was noted that Mother's Wood Creations takes no responsibility from the point the product is handed over to the courier. Hence if goods do not arrive or are broken, this is your problem and not theirs. This is also not communicated to you upfront prior to the purchase. Worse of all, they no longer respond to messages. Very disappointing on such bad service and client interaction - we have a broken product which we paid for ... truly a shame.
