We are being de*****ed R13,927.85 by Motheo Kamo Flooring

In December 2019 I engaged Motheo Kamo Flooring for the replacement of my carpets to the value of R27 855.71. I paid the deposit of 50% for the work to begin. The contractor was supposed to start work on the 18th of December. This did not happen. It was eminent that the work will not be done before the year end. On the 3rd of January I followed up and the owner Mpho Monnakgotla kept giving lame excuses of the supplier not delivering material on time. When it became clear that she is not committing to deliver, I told her that we are cancelling the work and for her to pay us back the deposit. This company was highly recommended by Standard Bank personnel as it is currently in the Supplier Panel of Standard Bank Insurance as I am a standard bank homeowner. Attempts to get the money have not yet yielded any fruits. Yesterday she indicated that she is going to the bank to make payment but failed to send us proof of payment. It is over a month later and she is now not responding to us. I have made Standard Bank aware and hopefully they can try to assist us as they are actively working on Standard Bank insurance work.The public should be aware of this company as the lady appears to be very sociable and articulate, however, very s****ful in talk but no delivery.
